Auction Notifications

I was wondering if there was a way to get rid of auction notifications? I mean, if you host an auction and many people bid on it, it gives you lots of "spam" notifications. I don't want a full inbox and scroll through all of those notifs just to get to a ping or a wall post. I do want to know when my auction ends/who had the winning bid. I just don't want the stuff in between. Does anyone agree with me or have any ideas about this?
