I've seen some suggestions in the Site Feedback and Ideas forum that I'd like to support, but I'm not sure if I ought to reply to those topics or start a new one. The last post in a topic proposing this particular idea is from mid-January. I haven't seen a hard and fast rule about the maximum length of time between posts, and I've looked pretty thoroughly. So, how old of a topic is considered too old to be bumped?

@whitefire The time it takes for a topic to "die" varies depending on the topic. Trade topics tend to "die" faster while games can take half a year or more to die. We tend to make judgements on this on a case by case basis.Generally if a topic hasn't been posted in over 6-8 months there is a good chance its dead. Anything that hasn't been posted in in over a year should not be bumped at all. However, creature suggestion topics are never considered dead.
