The girl digs into her pocket and pulls out a sheet of paper and crayon.

The girl starts writing on the paper in small print. She shows the paper to the others. On it reads:
"Hello. Are you the people I see sometimes when I go to a room with glass walls?"

The girl continues writing. She shows it to the others. It read:
"Daddy said I was going to live at the big house with the white walls. He yelled at you a lot."

"I think he did....once. But I don't remember."

Victoria looks at the bread and cheese then walks over to it. She then begins making a sandwich and then sticks it in the fire to toast it.

Z-Tyla gave a squeak of indignition. "I can introduce myself, thank you very much."

Xander grinned as Z-Tyla glared at him, then stomped out, muttering "Too late, anyway."

Xander chuckled, then turned back to Victoria.

History: Here's a short story to describe her childhood.

~"Em, leave now." Her sister shouted over the din of the battle.
~"No! I won't leave you and Jason here without me!" I shouted back.
~"Jason is dead. I'm mortally wounded. I'll be gone in a moment. Do not let Gen W finish you too." Jenifer said firmly, throwing a knife to me. "Now go!" She said, falling back to the ground.
~I caught the knife, took one glance back at her lifeless form and ran toward the trees that were just a few yards from me. My boots splashed in the bloody dirt. Rain poured down from the heavens, as if it too were grieving the deaths of my family. My only family. I reached the forest and weaved through the trees to throw off any pursuers. I didn't stop running until I reached the mountains. I collapsed onto a large boulder when I reached them and let out the rest of the fear and tears.
~Jenifer was dead. Jason was dead. Mother and father were dead. I had nowhere to go. I felt a sudden weight on my shoulder and jerked back, looking behind me. A man in a white coat stood there, smiling compassionately. He motioned for me to follow him and I hesitated for only a moment.
~"You're what, eight? What are you doing this deep in the forest?" The man asked as they walked. I was silent until we reached a camouflaged van.
~"Where are you taking me?" I asked the man.
~"Someplace safe." He had replied. "I'm Nathan by the way."
~"I'm Emily... Emily Peters." I said quietly.
~I got in the car and we drove for a long time to a large facility. Nathan called it the Generation X facility. He said Gen W was a fail and Gen X would never fail like that. He said it would be better.
~I came to trust Nathan until he was killed in an accident. I stayed with Gen X to make sure it was never going to be like W had been. His last words to me had been, "If X ever goes bad, I want you to stop them. Do not give them freedom."

Personality: Emily is always found working on something to make X better. She has a small crush on Isaiah, and hated that she does. She doesn't like getting attached to anyone because she's afraid of being hurt.
Power: She can sense the emotions of other people.
Weakness: High temperatures, extreme emotions

Appearance: Dark haired with olive skin. Kind mocha eyes and he's always smiling. Wears a lab coat most of the time with a black sweater.
Personality: A kind and smart man, sometimes firm, loves science.

Weakness: He wanted to save Generation X
Other: Nico was killed in a questionable accident after he left the facility. His wife, Anna Solace, had died years before. His daughter, Victoria Griffin, was taken from him to become part of Gen X.
