”Wake up!” I nudged my siblings. Only one did. We had been like that for days. Our mother picked me and him out of the box.

Roseflurry nodded. "They're quite the feisty type... but they'll make good warriors. They're probably going to come in a couple of days."
"A couple of days?!" He exclaimed.
"Is something wrong?"
"No, that's wonderful!" And he headed back to patrol with his head up.

I stared at the newcomer. Maybe I should make friends with her? Unsure, I sat down and watched.

Looking at Silentecho, I noticed that she was looking at the newcomer. It could either mean trouble, or a new addition. Narrowing my eyes, I stared at her. She was shy, but everybody has a different side to them.

Owltalon
What does the newcomer think she's doing. She can't join, she's a loner. Kittypet even. I snorted in contempt. Our clan needs no weaklings.

I stalked off into the forest. I was gonna be useful, unlike my clanmates who were just gawking at a weakling. We're here to survive, no stare at someone.

I turned around to see my brother stalking off into the forest. Sighing, I turned around and faced the new comer. Waving my tail, I turned to Frostfire to help me translate.

I looked at Silentecho. "She's saying hi," I said gruffly to the newcomer.

Frostfire

I padded out towards the forest. Hunting, was what I told Silentecho. Sniffing the air, I smelled a mouse. Making sure I was downwind, I stalked it, my tail high in the air. Pouncing, I snapped the mouse's spine. It was a medium sized one, so it'll do. Burrowing my prey, I walked away, seeking another one to catch.

Maplefox was able to get out of the river, but Blackfox was pulled by the current, sweeping him over a waterfall. He landed in the lake underneath the falls. He washed onto the shore. Blackfox was in an unknown forest, far from camp.
