I will be inactive for a couple of weeks. I have a soft-spot for animals and the giant pandas are leaving my local zoo! So, keep my creatures alive.

Esme ran through the forest. She glanced fearfully behind her as she left the harsh and horrible orphange that should have been destroyed before it was created.
She was treated worse than the other childrens, she was a freak, she was worthless. She ran away multiple times, but never succeeded in getting so far. The warden was always on duty and by chance, the old one had died. She played no part in it, did she? The old warden was cruel, whipping her and punishing her for no reason at all.
Why would a little girl drug the old woman for? The very act itself was against society's beliefs right?
She would run and find a new place. Or Die Trying.
