My mothers side of my family is in the Dairy business!
Within the past years my uncle has upgraded the farm with robotic milking & identification software. It cuts down on time and is very helpful for making sure his herd is healthy! The cows even enjoy the process, where they get a massage, treat, and backrub. They love it so much in fact, they keep trying to go back through, to which the robot will scan their tag and see that they've already been milked and shouldn't be milked again for x amount of time to avoid any issue.
My uncle grows alot of his cow's feed on his own farm, and they use the manure from the cows as fertilizer & also processes it to capture the gas to generate renewable energy. Aside from dairy cows, they also grow sweet corn on their farm and sell it every harvest.

About Bessy Eggs

This egg was only given out in December of 2011.

Bessy eggs have a warm, leathery texture similar to the skin of their hatched counterparts. The closer Bessies are to hatching, the more their bell sounds. Unfortunately, the constant jingling can create quite a racket and those who enjoy sleep are often wary of Bessy eggs and their owners.

About the Bessy Creature

Bessies are exceptionally loyal creatures. They tend to follow the first human they lay eyes on and, as a result, are not easily traded. When they were first discovered, numerous reports of con artists surfaced, for owners would wake up in the morning to find their newly-traded Bessies missing. Citizens quickly realized that this is just one characteristic of the Bessy. Currently, the Ark Police warn that Arkians should trade Bessies at their own risk. Also, to the dismay of many owners, the Bessy does not produce milk.
