For each, bend a piece of pipe cleaner (12-in piece for the adult, 6-in for chicks)

To add a beak, color the end of a toothpick with orange marker, cut it off & use tacky glue to attach it to the head coil.
Glue on a set of googly eyes.

Glue a pinecone to the pipe cleaner base, then glue feathers to the pinecone.

Honk are a unique kind of species in that they are the only type of duck which will NOT run away from a human.
