"Winn-Dixie!", I hear. What does that mean? "Winn-Dixie" I look to see her looking at me. Is that my name? I imagine so. I try to go towards her, but my little legs couldn't carry me far, and I tumbled down towards the ground. Luckily she caught me before I hit the ground. She would always hug and kiss me up until she got a dog. Then all of her attention would be in that foul beast. I tried everything to get her to love me again, but nothing would work. Eventually, I gave up and decided to run away. I mean, if she loves the beast so much, why keep me? I'll just leave her and the beast alone. I left in the middle of the night, as I was walking away, my eyes stared getting wet. Is this what crying is? I don't care. I am leaving no matter what. Then I hear a small voice behind me "Winn-Dixie?" It was her! I must leave before she captures me! I run as fast as I can, but it's no use. She catches me anyway and hugs me. This hug is different from all the other ones. This one feels...Sad? The last thing I heard before I fall asleep is "Because of Winn-Dixie....."

Perhaps you are wondering who this girl was. I think her name was Kate or something. Kate.... Kate DiCamillo! That's it! I think she's very famous for writing some books. I've always wanted to read some of her books! I just can't read. 😋

About Volpe Eggs

There's a strange humming noise that comes from this egg. It sounds harmonious and musical, too.

About the Volpe Creature

The Volpe is known as "The Harmonious Fox" that seeks to live in balance with nature and all of its surroundings. It is a vegetarian animal unlike the many other types of foxes. As a result, it isn't the type of ominous predator that you would think it might be.

A musical staff, similar to the Pekva, is imprinted on the wings of the creature. The various lines that make up the wing (staff) can actually be plucked like a string. They even make a sound like a harpsichord! Their wings, however, are very delicate and fragile and cannot be plucked regularly. Otherwise, the wings will be covered with debilitating sores and bruises. If a Volpe's wings are plucked too frequently, it can permanently disable the creature, making it impossible for them to fly.

Under humane and strictly regulated conditions, samples have been recorded from Volpe wings and digitized. In the shops of Ark City, you can buy electronic Volpe Keyboards if you desire the sound!
