About Ara Eggs

This egg was only available in Egg Cave's Cash Shop Park for Earth Day 2015 (April 22).

Ara feathers grow on the egg. Their color before hatching generally indicates what color the fully-hatched Ara will be. If you find dull-colored feathers on an Ara egg, the fully-hatched bird will likely be gray. On the other side, brightly-colored egg feathers likely leads to a vibrantly-colored hatched bird.

About the Ara Creature

Baby Aras are among the cutest of Ark's youngest creatures. They are completely and utterly helpless as babies, which makes their failings rather entertaining and extremely endearing.

Once an Ara has grown its wings, it can fly for miles and miles at relatively high altitudes. Aras don't prefer to fly at higher altitudes though; they generally stay safely perched in Ark's thickest jungles.

The Ara's call is the most distinct of any bird in Ark. It is not pleasant. But it is indeed distinguished and identifiable.

It is estimated that Ara's can only reproduce successfully in captivity, which makes them a focal point of environmental conservation.
