*-* MY SIMPLE NEWBIE GUIDE *-*

Welcome to Egg Cave! ❤️

Joining any virtual pet site can be a bit overwhelming when you first start out, so here is some guide tips to get you feeling like home in no time.

* Do take time and read the FAQ and Guidelines located at the bottom of any page *
This will give you the best information about this site as well as the do's and don'ts.

1 - Post an "Introduction" about yourself in the Forum located under the Community tab on top of any page.

2 - Adopt a creature that will be displayed on your profile page. Give it a nice profile or use text art to symbolize why you love your creature.

3 - Go to the "Edit Profile" tab located under the My Stuff tab on top of any page. Select the pet you want displayed, take a headshot of your pet, choose what others will see and pick the format you like.

Plain text art can be used here and Egg Cave's BBcode tab which is located in our Forum at top of the page. Next, go to "Preference" under the My Stuff tab and make sure to protect your account and choose how you want to receive mail and other options.

4 - Start slow in adopting creatures, to keep your pets happy and from dying you will need Egg Coins, you earn coins feeding other creatures at other members coves.

Your creatures can be put with Tims' located under the Shops tab on top of any page. Be sure to feed your own creatures.

Use the "Click Exchange" located under the Community tab on top of any page. With every click you help others and your pet gets care too.

5 - Check out the "Archives" under the Explore tab top of page. See what creatures are available in the cave and those in the cash shop.

While visiting other coves if you see a creature you like but not available, start a wishlist that you can go over later on to try and trade with others for as you gain extra limited creatures or cash pets that can be used just for this purpose. ❤️

6 - Earn Egg Coins and start banking anything over 15k. You gain better interest storing away 6 million and up.
Spend your 🪙 wisely and look for bargains in the forum under trades and contests/giveaways.

Visit the "Creature Auction" under the Shops tab on top of any page; there you can obtain limited creatures for less and its in real time.

If you are strapped for 🪙 then you can auction off an extra creature you have. Isn't that neat?

Need a travel or want to swap an item for another then check out the "Items Trade" under the Shops tab. Rarer items can be found there and you can sell your items too. 😊

7 - Make friends! Visit the game section of our Forum and click what interest you. Get to see what clubs, guilds and groups are here to join.

Check out our community blog and post a comment; others will visit you and even strike up a conversation.

8 - Create your own checklist for Egg Cave. 😊
Include things to do daily and what shops/places to frequent.
Some places open randomly, others are 24 hours like the Trivia, Sandodrum's Wall and Asteroid.

The shops refresh regularly based on 5 minute intervals so keep checking them.

9 - Are you creative? Maybe, you can write descriptions for creatures or draw for us. In the forum there is a section for you under "Creature Suggestions" or look at others creature suggestions and help your fellow egg caver.

10 - Like Egg Cave? Help the site stay fun, bringing us new and exciting things each year; support it by buying from the cash shop.

❤️ Enjoy yourself and thanks for reading my guide. ❤️

About Alarune Eggs

This egg was only available in Egg Cave's Cash Shop Park for April 2015.

Alarune eggs carry a very potent scent. Newly-laid Alarune eggs actually don't smell that good; it takes time for their scent to become sweeter. The sweeter the aroma becomes, the closer the egg is to hatching.

About the Alarune Creature

Alarunes spend nearly one-third of their entire life inside of their flower pedal cocoon. The Alarune cocoon is able to absorb the necessary nutrients and resources from its surrounding environment without the contained creature ever having to leave.

When Alarunes come out of their cocoons in the teen stage, they are very shy. Initially, they are sensitive to loud noises and quickly-flashing lights. It takes an Alarune a couple of months to adjust to receiving and processing external stimuli that many creatures would consider normal.

Finally evolved Alarunes become more socially capable, but remain emotionally aloof from their surroundings. They frequently enjoy doing solo dance performances, as it doesn't require them to interact with any other creatures.

Alarune Dance Shows are very common around the spring time in Ark City.
