ST. PATRICK'S DAY - Happy St. Patrick's Day from all of us at Egg Cave. Dragold's Den is now open through 26 March, 11:59 PM! It's back!

DRAGOLD'S DEN - Visit the Dragold's Den once every 30 minutes (reduced from 1 hour) and try your luck at some amazing St. Patrick's Day prizes! The possibilities are:

• Double feeding: increase by 2 feed stats per 1 feed
• Double EC: get double the amount of EC from feeding for a time period
• EC reward: you are rewarded handsomely with a sum of EC
• EC stolen: sometimes the Dragold gets greedy, sorry!
• Travel prize: from the Dragold's Den prize pool
• Creature prize: which can be (1) March Cave monthlies, (2) Dragold Den's seasonals (Coinster & Nathare), or (3) the new Youngold creature below (a new DD seasonal)

NO SIDE ACCOUNTS AT THE DEN - Please do not visit the Dragold's Den with any side accounts. It would be bad luck to do so.

New this year:

• Visit every 30 minutes, instead of every hour
• EC rewards are more generous, when you receive one
• We've added the Youngold and new Travels to the prize pools
• Minimum boost times have been increased (on average, boosts will last a few minutes longer)

THE YOUNGOLD - It's not a redraw! It's not a replacement. It's a brand new, chibi creature that is beyond adorable. It's the newest addition to the Dragold's Den prize pool. The Youngold is only obtainable through Dragold's Den (not a Cave creature).

THE FISH OF GOLD: KOIN - St. Patrick's Day is full of gold hunting and we're kicking off the celebrations a day early! The Koin, the fish of gold, has been discovered in the Ark River and is ready to be adopted at the Cash Shop Park.

This creature will retire on 31 March at 11:59 PM ECT. Don't wait too long!

DRAGOLD'S DEN - Who is ready for the annual return of the Dragold's Den event? We can't wait to show you what's in store!

VERSION 3 TESTING - If you've noticed that we've been a bit quiet about Egg Cave version 3 over the last couple of weeks, it's because we've been working on a brand-new design for it. Yep, that's right -- another one! For our version 3 testers, these changes are now live test server for your viewing pleasure.

For those of you who aren't testers, please click the image below to see a sneak peek of the latest design changes.

The biggest changes include:

• A brand new design and look
• Reinstated the sidebar with your account information for easier navigation
• Attempted to "size down" the layout, including reducing font sizes and negative whitespace that made pages feel "oversized" and creatures "small"
• Egg profiles will now feel more familiar and do not feature a circular block design
• Subnavigations will feel simpler and more familiar
• The search bar for the site has been more prominently positioned
• LONG LIVE TICK TOCK THE CLOCK!!!
• The Help & FAQ page, which has been renamed to Player Guide now reflects information from version 2, instead of blank areas
• Vastly improved responsiveness and readability on mobile devices
• Fixed weird errors that caused creatures and items to be out of order in their respective "selectors"
• Creature and Item Selectors now feature more visible options like Select All, Deselect All, and Clear Search
• Improved the reliability of reordering and managing creatures on your Cove Lists
• Fixed issues that caused tooltips (hover-over, popup text) to be aligned incorrectly with their parent element
• Redesigned the Egg Cave version 3 log in form
• Re-added auction lot countdown timers, to the second
  

LAST DAY FOR THE VALEQUINE - It's the last and final day for the Valequine, in the Cash Shop Park for 200 CC. Don't pass this lovely love-themed creature up and get yours today!

UPDATE - Thanks to our users for spotting this error. The last and final day to obtain the Valequine is actually March 7 -- this blog post was posted a day early.
