Egg Cave is quite the happening place! Visit our blog for the latest updates on everything new that we add to the site — new creatures, exciting worlds, account updates, and unique activities to do!
From here on out, we'll post less and less about bug fixes on the Site Blog, except if we find anything mission critical. But for the most part, everybody at Egg Cave has done an amazing job at helping us solve most of version 3's biggest issues.

The right side of the top navigation bar has been updated to reflect your unread notifications, mail, and friend requests but now also contains links to other important areas that some users have said is "too hard to get to" like My Creatures and Cove Lists.
The Christmas Cash Shop Travels from December 2016 will be retiring from the Cash Shop on Friday, 5 May at 11:59:59 PM ECT. Get yours before they are gone!

We've fixed the big bug where your Cove List management order wasn't being saved or displayed correctly. When you save, it'll really save it!
We've completely redone Cove List management when you click Manage & Add Creatures to order your creatures. Instead of relying on the somewhat finicky drag-and-drop functionality (that's normally not the very best at cross-browser compatibility, especially mobile), we've allowed you the ability to physically specify the number that a creature should be ordered. The system will automatically fill in missed or blank spaces.
Head over to Cove List management by clicking "My Creatures" on the sidebar, then clicking "Cove Lists" in the submenu. Create your first list, then start adding and ordering creatures by clicking Manage & Add Creatures. These lists can appear on your profiles.
When you're finished, click Back to Cove Lists to head back to the Egg Cave main site.
In the mean time, we're working on getting the forums search back online! Thank you for helping us squash these bugs over the last week of version 3. You've helped make the new Egg Cave a smashing success!
Database "deadlocks" (where the database receives different instructions to modify different data at the same exact system time) have been fixed at the Click Exchange, which was causing certain clicks to not register when clicking. This is what caused certain links to reappear after you already "clicked" them.
Sorry for the delay on Trinket Travels. They will be several days late for May's creatures.

We're working around the clock to resolve version 3 issues on Egg Cave to get things in tip-top, working condition. Minor updates today!
Your creature view counts have been updating correctly this whole time. There was no glitch with the back-end system tallying or additions, even if you saw creatures display at 0. It was simply a display issue on creature profiles and Coves. So rest assured that your creatures have been getting the views they deserve this whole time, it's just that the system didn't display the correct calculated number!
This has been fixed! View count numbers are now correct again.
We thought that we'd make a quick announcement about Auctions, since there has been a few mission-critical glitches.
In the rare case that final auction bids were placed within milliseconds of each other, sometimes the system spaced out and didn't know who was the correct winner since it was so close. This has now been fixed. The highest Egg Coins point value will always win the auction. This was actually fixed yesterday.
If it occurred to you where you lost an auction that you were the highest bidder on, we are afraid that we cannot reverse the results of these already-processed auctions. We're very sorry for any inconvenience caused. It won't happen again!
It was possible that the system displayed auction bid amounts out-of-order. It may have placed lower bids above higher bids. This has been fixed. It will always show the correct bid order by point value.
Similar to the first glitch, when final bids were placed within milliseconds of each other, the system occasionally bugged out and didn't know how to properly return EC escrows. This has been permanently fixed for all future auctions that are going to close. Only very close-call bidding wars were affected (bids placed less than 500 milliseconds apart).
Please Submit a Ticket if you did not receive an auction bid escrow back in a very close auction. We have physical logs of your bids, even after auctions process, and can verify your bid amounts if you lost something. Thank you!

We know that bug fix blog posts aren't the most exciting things ever, but we want for you to be able to read about the list of bugs that we're fixing, because so many of you are reporting them. Rest assured that, after a few days of major bug fixes, these posts will become a little less.
