Zarol are created by the Advent Tree's magic and embody holiday cheer.
Zarol prefer to stay out of the Schnee/Swornt rivalry altogether. Instead they spread holiday cheer to those all around them, paying particular attention to those in need. Its not uncommon to see Zarol caroling in the streets of Ark City during the holiday season.
