I am Adam Powell also known as Borovan. I was one of the original creators of Neopets. Neopets was created in1997 (launched it in 1999) alongside my wife, Donna Williams, but quit The Neopets Team back in 2007.

My username is borovan. Because of numerous asparagus related items around the site, as well as the price of asparagus itself, are because of the likes of the vegetable.

As of April 2012, I had 4 pets -- 3 of which were asparagus Chias and the fourth a red Bori on neopets.

I was born on December 20, 1976 in Wales.

Aside form Neopets, I also co-founded Meteor Games, which is the company that created Treasure Keepers before laying off most of its staff.

I collect asparagus and adorable plushies.





Dragona was named after a staff member on neopets. It is said 'Dragona' is still active on the site.

Breik was named after a staff member on neopets. It is said 'Breik' is still active on neopets, still unknown.

Kreludor was named by the Neopets only first (and only) moon of Neopia . Not much is known about it, only that it is home to a large colony of Orange Grundos, and it seems that some sinister mining.

Eliv was named by The ghost of Eliv Thade is one of the Haunted Woods' more notorious undead characters. He's most well known for centering his [after] life around anagrams.

Gormball was named by extreme sport played by the finest athletes in Neopia. Forming a circle, the players have to pass around a Gormball until it explodes. I really didn't like that game.

Hagan was named by King Hagan of Neopets. Skarl's more intelligent brother, King Hagan is the ruler of Brightvale, a kingdom filled with wisdom and intellect. If you visit him at his rather magnificent castle. He is a nice King.

Kadoatery was named by the noisy Kads on Neopets. Please, feed the poor Kads! The Kadoatery is Neopia's first and only Petpet boarding house. Kadoaties receive only the best care, but as you may have noticed they are demanding.

Neofriend was named by well... The basic "Neofriend" button you can click on Neopets to add them as your friend! Duh.

Shenkuu was named by well.. In Shenkuu, it is believed that tangerines bring good luck. Unlike other Neopian lands, there is only one Faerie inhabitant of Shenkuu - Kaia. It's beautiful there.

Ummagine was named by the fruit. Games Room - Grand Theft Ummagine. ... In this game you play Stan the Kyrii, a wily thief sneaking his way around the city of Sakhmet trying to steal some food to eat. How delicious!

Uski was named by the species on Neopets. Usuki Frenzy and a cute game in which you have to hurry up to collect Usuki Sets before leaving for a vacation. This second version of the game has a few new features. It is also a "paint" you can use on ypur poor Uski.
