Lowering Cove Populations

We all know the more creatures you have in your cove, the harder it is to care for them all properly. However, trying to get rid of some of your creatures is a hassle. You can abandon creatures at the Adoption Center, but I personally always feel bad because I do like all my creatures. It's just I get to the point where I can't care for them anymore. And then, when you trade, you have to always trade with at least one creature, which doesn't solve the population problem much.

I was thinking, guys. Could we have it so that you can pay with JUST EC/CC in the Trade Center? That way, if someone is really trying to get rid of some eggs, it would be a lot easier. This would also make trading more popular so rarer eggs could be brought with EC/CC. Though I don't like the idea of using CC to buy everything on Egg Cave, I will support it only this time for the sake of people having smaller coves.

I think it's time for Egg Cave users to be able to decide how big they want their coves to be, rather than be stuck in a huge pile of creatures they can't take care of. What do you guys think? And do you have any other suggestions that people could take to lower their cove populations?

Oh, I hate having to get "junk eggs" for trading! I feel so bad knowing the little guy will be unwanted in his new home. Good to know I got some support! I was hoping I wasn't the only one who felt this way. 😸

I think that we shouldnt have to offer a junk egg, it stinks to have to pick one up, knowing the new owner will probably let it die, because its common. I like my big cove, but I agree with you that we shouldnt have to offer a egg. Ian said that CC was never meant to be traded, but it has been, and now its a big part of eggcave's economy. I think it'd really help to be able to trade CC in our lots. It would save a lot of people from getting scammed.

@bluenatty Agreed. And I'd like a big cove too. XD It's just good for people to decide how big they want their cove to be. Like if they don't have time, just only have a few eggs. And I don't like how CC is being traded like this. I mean, I don't mind if EC is traded because everyone can get it. Just depends how hard you work. But if you don't have PayPal or no money, then CC doesn't work for you. Totally true about the scamming too! I hate hearing stories about how people got their eggs stolen and such. D:

I agree. You only lose 4 creatures, not 5, and it would make auctions easier.
Also, when I transfer to my storage, it's annoying that I have to trade one of mine, and fix my cove lists again.

yup, i totally agree! i mean, what if you want to give a gift to another user? like a birthday present. you should not give a common to the other user to make their cove the same as before to make that a thank-you.

Exactly! What's the point of giving a gift if you have to swap eggs? When you wanna be generous you should be able to. Wow, you guys are coming up with a lot of good pros. Keep 'em coming!
